Art talks
My creativity and my art are inspired by nature and the environment, by urban spaces, architecture and design.
My artistic work is multifaceted and reflects the diversity of life, my personal experiences, my curiosity, openness, perseverance and passion. I shift between reason, emotions and magic, and between order and chaos.
Forms, colours, spaces, plasticity, and haptics are important for my artistic work. My theoretical knowledge and my practical skills go hand in hand with creativity, spontaneity, imagination, and curiosity. I love experimenting with media and materials and trying new things. There is always room for the unexpected with me. Routine is my enemy. That's why my artworks are unique.
Often, I invent and tell stories in my artworks or send a message to the viewers. Many of my works are striking and sometimes loud. Many are powerful and full of tension, but sometimes also delicate and poetic. Especially my collages are imaginative, magical and enchanting or appear absurd and surrealistic.
I want my art to speak to viewers, evoke emotions and thoughts, and perhaps even to create a dialogue between them and my artwork.
I create acrylic paintings, drawings, collages, paper works, objects, and installations. I use various substrates such as canvas, paper, cardboard, wood, and Styrofoam.
My preferred materials are acrylic paint, oil and charcoal pencils, ink, paper, textiles, plaster, Styrofoam, wire and thread.
As tools, I use brushes, palette knives, spatulas, or simply my fingers.
